on my sytems Adacity consumme a lot of CPU ?
so i get very often the colored wheel
is this normal ?

Although controlled benchmarks show very similar results between Audacity 2.4.2 and 3.0.0(2), there have been anecdotal reports of 3.0.x running slower than previous versions.
Also, when a 2.4.2 project is opened in 3.0.x, there will be conversion time as Audacity copies the old .aup structure to a new .aup3 file.
