If you are also getting a peak (voice) signal of around -6 dB, then that is excellent and will make your post-recording work very much easier.
There's just one room in my house where I can achieve that - all the other rooms are too noisy. Even then I sometimes have to re-record due to noises outside of the house being picked up in the recording.

Nice!

It's conveniently a "room within a room" and I hung a carpet (with hooks and strong fishing line) in a semi-circle from the ceiling (each end of the semi-circle meets the wall), and further placed 8-ft x 2-ft plywood planks, after gluing a layer of 1-in. foam to each one, around the carpet, tipi-like. Standing room only inside this setup, but enough space for a workstation.
