Oh dear please help.

Okay. Long time user here. Love Audacity so so much. But I just downloaded the most recent version and am having one major issue. When I go to move a track from say "in the middle" to the bottom, the screen also jumps to the bottom. It never did this in prior versions and is extremely annoying and often when I do this I am rearranging tracks and it causes me to loos my place every time. Please tell me there is a way to undo this particular setting.

Sorry, there isn't.

Do you recall which version of Audacity you were using previously?

There's a workaround.

Create a new Macro (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/macros.html) and add the command "Move Focused Track to Bottom".
Optionally you could create a keyboard shortcut to run the macro (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/key ... ences.html)

When you run the macro, ("Apply to current project"), it will move the current track (the "focused" track that has a yellow border) to the bottom, but does not scroll the tracks.
