Audacity crashes

Help for Audacity on macOS.
Forum rules

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Audacity crashes

Hello,
I am using macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6 and audacity2.4.2
I am doing a podcast and Audacity keeps crashing and the app closes after i try to edit something.
I have read other similar question/answers on the forum and tried the solutions given but it hasn't worked.
Any suggestions?

Could you post a screen shot of your project before the crash?

Are any of your tracks at a sample rate of 32000?

Yes i think they all are at a sample rate of 32000. what should i change them to?

Set the "Project Rate" (lower left corner of the main Audacity interface) to 44100.
Then "Select menu > All".
Then "Tracks menu > Resample" and resample to 44100.
