In other words, I asked you if you own a Macintosh or if you are just guessing how Macs work.Do you own a Mac, or are you helping out in this forum and just winging it?
If you own a Mac, I'd encourage you to try out Loopback as it seems to eliminate the need for all of the hardwiring gymnastics you do.
