I got a pop up saying Internal error at Project.cpp line 172 and to inform the Audacity team
I also cannot use the downward pointing green arrow to move to areas I've recorded
I also cannot split sections. The split command is greyed out

What were you doing when you got the pop-up error?

I was finishing off a 90 minute recording session. The entire 90 minutes was completed and I have to copy the last 30 minutes into a second file,
I can't navigate thru my work to do edits and create a proper second file

how do I continue dialogue with Koz?
I don't see my return comments to him
Is he receiving them?

Somehow I was able to edit and complete the 30 minute file.
Now it has to be exported to an MP3 file and I won't work (greyed out)

Which version of Audacity are you using? (look in "Audacity menu > About Audacity").

I,m using Audacity 2.3.3
Another pop up occurred, something about de-bugging, and then the colour wheel kept spinning and the computer totally froze up.
I had no alternative but to restart computer and force quitting Audacity and risk losing work i could not save.
Fortunately, when computer re-booted, all Audacity files were completely restored, and all functions completely returned.
I was then able to complete my work but why it did what it did, remains a mystery!!

Audacity 2.3.3 has built-in support for exporting MP3 so I don't see any obvious reason why that would not be available.
The current version of Audacity is 2.4.2 https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
