Need Help With Sound Quality

Post by lesley6 » Tue Jun 23, 2020 1:33 pm

MacOs Catalina 10.15.5
Audacity Version 2.4.1

Hi, I made the mistake of moving my Mic further into my isolation shield before recording this piece. I was able to improve it somewhat with compression, noise reduction, filter curve and normalization and I think it sounds fine on my computer and headphones, but when I play it on my iphone with an MP3 it sounds off. Is there a way to fix this? It passes ACX check but I dont want to submit something that isnt quite right. Thank you in Advance.

There are different quality MP3, the lower quality settings give a smaller file, but can sound computery.

ACX specify the MP3 quality they require :
acx.com wrote: " 192kbps, or higher, 44.1kHz MP3, Constant Bit Rate (CBR)."
