2.4.1 Will not run on MacOS 10.15

Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

2.4.1 Will not run on MacOS 10.15

i get this error
"Audacity Startup Failure"
"An unrecoverable error has occurred during startup"
and in terminal if i try to open it there i get

"/Applications/Audacity.app/Contents/MacOS/Audacity ; exit;
Attempting to connect to Audacity failed...retrying
Attempting to connect to Audacity failed...retrying

[Process completed]"
can anyone help?

Please reset the Audacity settings as explained here: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=101842

If that does not help, check the following.
Did you download Audacity from this site: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/ ?
Please check the SHA checksum according to these instructions:
