Waveform dB??

Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

I don't use it, but I know people who do. Waveform dB doesn't exist any more?

It still exists, but the option to select it has moved from the track's dropdown menu, to the vertical ruler's right click menu (NOT my idea).

I never liked that idea either. I don't think it's very "discoverable" in that context menu.

And it's confused a fair few people, particularly in Paul's Facebook VO group :roll:
