upgraded to 2.2.2 on mac os 10.11.6 and was able to edit a voice recording (have used older versions for years to edit).
Today I tried to open the same file (saved) - it won't play, message:
error opening sound device. Try changing the host (what's that?) playback device and project sample rate.
please advise next step. thanks
