....the long-awaited update that will enable Audacity to fully function with Catalina?

"Audacity 2.4.0"
We had hoped that it would have been released by now, but that was delayed by some tricky bugs that had to be fixed. The current schedule is for Audacity 2.4.0 to be released early next month. The release will be announced here on this forum and via our social media.
