Hi:
Yesterday I installed version 2.3.3 of Audacity on my 27” iMac 5K running Mac OS 10.12.6. I was sad to discover that it still has a bug that I reported for version 2.3.2.
When using it with my Behringer U-PHORIA UMC4040HD, and attempting to record four independent mono channels, I get one stereo channel and two mono ones. I know this is a bug because when I do the same thing on my older 27” iMac running Audacity 2.2.2 everything works correctly. I select four channels and I get four independent mono channels.
I am particularly interested in moving to version 2.3.3 because of the “punch and roll” feature.
Could someone please put this “track issue” in the “bug list” for the next Mac version.
Thank you
Version 2.3.3 won't record 4 independent tracks simultaneously with Behringer U-PHORIA UMC4040HD

Steve logged a bug for this back in August: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2195
And two days ago he developed a fix for this - which will be in the upcoming 2.4.0 (probably end-April)
I cannot QA test this as I have no multi-channel kit (apart from 2-channel stereo, that is)
