File Error -- Failed to read from a file

Post by riverbees » Tue Nov 19, 2019 5:04 pm

I have Catalina 10.5.1 and Audacity 2.3.2. Also installed ffmpeg and lame after seeing the log file looking for those files.

I was trying to removed noise from a track that was recorded using Audacity and after a few seconds, the noise reduction looks like it is working then it shows me the sad message:

I also noticed that there is a file called NoOverwritePromptqDfl5E in the Audacity Projects folder.

I was reluctant to chmod on the Audacity Folder until receiving further instructions.

Thanks for your help!
