ToneBoosters has a suite of plug-ins, including a DeEsser, that look very nice and the package is about $20. But, while the maker says you can insall on a Mac and directly use it with any DAW, I thought I’d better check to see if it really installs and works with Audacity. So, has anyone had success?
Thanks! So, If I correctly understand, ToneBoosters plug-ins are for 64-bit DAWs only, but Audacity for Mac is currently 32-bit, so if I wish to use those plug-ins, I either need to use them on my Windows 10 64-bit system with 64-bit Audacity, or be patient and wait for 64-bit Audacity on Mac. Is that correct?
Apparently all the ToneBooster’s plugins currently on their website are 64-bit.
Some of the old 32-bit ToneBooster plugins are floating about elsewhere on the internet.
As far as I’m aware there’s no 64-bit Audacity for Windows as yet either …
