Jerky Scrolling

Hi all,
When I play back a recording on 2.2.2 (10.13.4), the scroll jerks in regular intervals of about 1/2 an inch at a time. It is making my eyes go buggy! Protools scrolls smoothly, so expected this would too.

Is this an easy fix? It’s hard to imagine it was designed to scroll this way.

I run 2.2.2 (and 2.3.0 alpha test vn,) on my Macbook Pro with High Sierra - now 10.13.6 - but I have had it on 10.13.4) and I do not see jerky scrolling on Playback.
