Reseting EQ levels?

Post by coachlamb » Fri Jun 08, 2018 7:55 pm

While playing back an edited podcast (that I had already done EQ and compression on), we noticed an imperfection in the editing. I am attempting to splice in a portion of the raw, unedited recording, but I can't get the sound to come out the same as the previously edited portion. Is there any way to "reset" the track to a baseline so I can get this to sound seamless?

There is a plugin to match the frequency-response of one track to another
It's complicated though, see ... viewtopic.php?p=334806#p334806
