Hello all I am new to Audacity. On the drop down I only have 1. mono available… how can I get 2. stereo? Thanks! 
You can duplicate a mono track,(Ctrl+D), and make stereo track of the identical pair, but that’s just dual-mono, which sounds exactly like the single mono track.You have to apply a stereo-effect if you want to add some 3D-ness, e.g. Pseudo Stereo.
