Help for Audacity on macOS.

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 2.2.2
MacOs High Sierra 10.13.4

Hello, every time I hit record message in the subject line comes up, as well as "change audio host, recording device, and the recording sample rate." I think I recall that there is only partial support for MacOS Sierra. If this is so and there is no fix, guess I will be returning this Cassette to MP3 gadget, unless you know of another fix or app to complete this action.

But there is full support for macOS Sierra/High Sierra - a couple of Audacity releases ago Audacity was listed as partial support for Sierra - but it always ran fine on my macbook pro with Sierra and High Sierra.

These days i#I am running Audacity 2.2.2 and 2.3.0 alpha test on High Sierra 10.13.3 and 10.13.4 and it runs just fine.
