Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

lost !!!!
i would like to slide the single selected from 1.045 to 1.035
without moving anything else

You're using a older version of Audacity which has "time-shift tool" to slide tracks on the timeline ...

hello

thanks for your prompt answear but i'm a novice ! so ! i need a more detailed explanations .
* schould i create a new track

* when following instruction from the manual , from the edit clip boundaries , with using the time shift ,
etheire side of the line move and not ONLY my selections .

* mac 10.12.6 i suppose i cannot update .

More than one way to skin a cat: this is one way to do it ...
pull section onto new track.gif
