Can someone help? I imported my beat to Audacity by dragging it in. I can listen to it just fine on audacity, but when I begin recording vocals I can’t hear the beat. It records over it, but it’s not playing. I have the settings for my audio and such in order, but it still isn’t playing. I even have tried having headphones plugged in and my usb headphone mic plugged in separately. The mic alone works on audacity. They also work when playing both vocals and the beat back. But I, for some reason, cannot record and play the beat at the same time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
What sort of mic are you using and how is it connected to your computer?
