Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Beginner looking for help
I’m trying to run audacity 2.2.0 on a Lenovo 81CX. Running an AKG P220 through a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. Keep getting the “Error opening sound device”. Could anyone possibly get me started recording. Having a tough time figuring this out.
