Making Karaoke: cannot find Mono in last step

Hi,

I am first time user of Audacity. Trying to make Karaoke of a song, using https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/create-vocalfree-karaoke-tracks/ . i am executing following steps

  1. Open or Importing mp3 file into Audacity - no issue

  2. selecting whole song by double clicking. then clicking song name drop down, selecting Split stereo track and maekingtwo channels - no issue

  3. selecting bottom channel and inverting it - no issue

  4. when i am trying to Change the tracks to Mono, the option is not appearing at all in drop down. in both channels. screen shot is attached.

please help

That “how to” is very out of date.
