Retail unit below turned on heater and there is low hum/buzz that gets picked up. I lowered the mic gain and did some light editing. Is the result acceptable? Thanks.
Windows 10
Audacity 2.2.1
Rode NT1A mic
FocusRite preamp

I applied the audiobook mastering tools and the clip passes ACX Audiobook requirements. You could read an audiobook if you wanted to.

You have the slightest P Popping from being too close to the microphone. Do you use a pop and blast filter?

What kind of light editing? Did you go in between sentences and manually suppress the hum? There's easier ways to do that. Sometimes you can apply Effect > Noise Reduction or even a notch filter depending on the pitch of the tone.
Give us a hint.
When you post for inspection, you should do it with the raw, absolutely unprocessed work, and do it in WAV format, not MP3. Do you have the work at the instant the motor went on?
