error opening sound advice

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

error opening sound advice

I get an error message opening sound device

it says try changing the audio host

playback device and the project samples
advise on what I need to do, this is for windows 10
