Is it possible to record youtube video using audacity? If so how can it be done?

No.Is it possible to record youtube video using audacity?
If you already have a video, Audacity might be able to open the sound part. Even that has its limits. You can edit the sound and produce a stand-alone track, but you need a video editor to put it back in with the picture.

There are websites & apps which enable you to download YouTube videos so you have a copy of the video on your computer.
Screen-capture programs are another way of recording a YouTube.
It is possible to databend (aka glitch art) video in Audacity ...
There are "how to" videos on YouTube
