Hi everyone, I hope this hasn't been addressed before, I looked quickly but couldn't find the answer to my question. I want to install a plug-in, but my Audacity folder is totally empty, I don't have that "plug-in" folder in which I should put my plug-in file. Can somebody help me? I tried to check "show hidden folders" on my computer but it didn't work.
Thank you.
My Audacity folder is empty

Hi. Thanks for your answer. I have Windows 10 and I have the 2.1.3 version. I downloaded it from the Audacity's website.

Re: My Audacity folder is empty
Yes, that's what I did. It runs perfectly well, I did some recordings already.
I downloaded it in French, maybe that's the problem? The path in English should be something like this : My computer/Documents/Audacity

Re: My Audacity folder is empty
That is a path suitable for saving your work, but it is not the correct location for installing plug-ins.Chloe03 wrote:The path in English should be something like this : My computer/Documents/Audacity
For installing Nyquist plug-ins, put them in:
/Users/<user name>/AppData\Roaming/audacity\Plug-Ins/
where "<user name>" is your computer log-in name.
Note that "/Users/<user name>/AppData" is a hidden folder.
