Problems Multitrack-Recording

Post by Berg » Thu Dec 28, 2017 4:23 pm

Hey!

I am using Windows 10 and Audacity 2.2.1.
I have Steinberg Ur 12 Soundcard.

I have a problem when I try to record more than 1 track.
The problem is that when I record the second track the half of the sound from the first track is put in the second track.
For example I record first acoustic guitar in the first track and then I want to record only vocals in the second track.
The problem is that on the second track the sound from track 1 is being recorded, I want for example only vocals in the second track.
Hope you understand me, my english is not the best.

Best wishes

Select your USB interface as your Recording Device and it will only record what's coming-out of your interface. (Do not select select "loopback" or "Stereo Mix".)
