recording guitars
I want to record directly into my pc. Audacity would be ok but is there a program to go straight to a notation recording like midi does for keys...I have a similar cable as the midi one with a 1/4" jack and a converter on the cable from Artaccessories. S what program can it be used for?
Re: recording guitars
There are MIDI guitar pickup / synth systems that can produce MIDI data from a guitar: https://www.boss.info/us/products/gp-10/mprest wrote: is there a program to go straight to a notation recording like midi does for keys
Also, if you restrict your playing to one note at a time, you could use a program such as AudioScore Lite http://www.sibelius.com/products/audioscore/lite.html (part of the Sibelius notation package, but it's not cheap).
