NEW USER AND CONFUSED

Post by WEST75 » Tue Dec 19, 2017 10:45 pm

Hi:
I am brand new to Audacity. The first instruction that I can find to record says -
"SET THE RECORDING DEVICE"
Please tell me what that means - what I am to do.

Thank you

Do you have the current version of Audacity installed (2.2.1)? If not, get it from here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/

What are you wanting to record, and with what equipment?

Goals are good. What would you like to do? It's good not to crank up detailed servicing until we find out what the poster wants as a product.
