I recorded a Skype call (using a mixer and Audacity- never had a problem before). The recording looks fine, but the sound cuts out completely for 10mins mid call. I was running out of space on my hard drive which might have had something to do with it, but the file, strangely looks good.
Has anyone experienced this? Can I save the audio somehow?
Shaun

Re: Appears to have recorded but sound drops out for 10mins
I expect that it is Skype messing with the levels.
If you shut down Skype completely (so that it is not even running in the background), are you able to get a normal recording from your mic for more than 10 mins?

Im looking at it retrospectively and the waves look fine, but there is no sound. It's really strange. It's all worked perfectly before.
It was a few days ago now- I don't know if there is anyway I can recover the data from temporary files?
