Forum rules
This forum is for Audacity on Windows.
Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at
https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the
1.2.x and
1.3.x forums.

The bug report has since been updated.
It appears that this bug was introduced between 2.1.3 and 2.2.0, not between 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 as was previously suggested.

It's extremely close to being the release for 2.2.1 (the only differences will be a README file that was omitted for Linux - plus some additional foreign language updates)

Thank you very much for your help. I have downloaded the RC2 and the chain issue is gone. WONDERFUL!
Have a great day.
