Hi, I made a guitar trk and its a good take only a few glitches. I want to cut and paste from another section of the song and fix the errors. I find myself measuring the time scale with a ruler in order to cut and paste a clip exactly the right size and not throw off the timing. Im thinking there has to be a better way. Can I change the time bar to a grid or what do you suggest for accurate cut and paste repairs? cheers

I'd suggest that you put the correction onto a new track, then you can line it up exactly with the audio that you are fixing and carefully edit the fix so that it provides a nice clean edit. If necessary you can also apply short crossfades.
