hi
when I play a record though my speakers I get an echo sound..im not sure how it happened..when I play back though the speakers no echo..i have another software and to test the system I recorded the same record again I got no echo.....
so the issue rests with audacity..what do I do to fix the echo sound?im on the latest windows system on a dell computer..thanks

1) Set the recording device in the device toolbar to the actual device that you are recording from (not "sound mapper").
2) Turn off "Software Playthrough" in the "Transport" menu.
