ppt with inserted videos gives different sound quality

First, you should know I am not a tech person so kindly answer my question in "layman-ese". Thanks!
I created a powerpoint (Windows 10) that has inserted in it a few videos taken with my smartphone (Android).
I have Camtasia on my computer, a video-editing program.
I recorded my own narration for the slides that did not have the videos.
When the video was created, there is a different sound quality between the phone videos and the ppt narration. After reading this forum, I am guessing the ambient echo-ish-ness of the room for the video I took on the cell is what caused this. The ppt narration sounds flatter (if that makes sense).
Tech support at Tech Smith (the company that makes Camtasia) said I need to export the audio to Audacity, fix it, and then put it back in to correct this.
I don't care if the flatter-sounding audio becomes "rounder" or if the rounder one, flatter. I just need them all the same.
What do you suggest?
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your help!
