Basically when I was recording a skype call the other day I only wanted my audio to be recorded but it was recording the other people who were talking even though I was using a headset with a microphone. I need it to be just my audio.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
Windows 8.1, audacity 2.1.3 and I used the exe installer.

Ensure that your microphone is selected as the recording input in the device toolbar.

Please describe your setup. Where possible, please include make & model of the equipment. Include details of how it is all connected together.

I discovered that it must be something on my computer as I tried two different recording programs and both recorded everything. If you have any idea, even though it's not audacity, that would be great.

I've no idea without seeing your "Audio Device Info".
