Is it possible to set the selection start at the current audio position then move the audio position anywhere else, listen for the correct spot , then set the selection end at the new current audio position without affecting the previously set selection start?
I'm just trying to identify the correct spots in an audiobook so that i can place my selection and export the selection out. At the moment i am playing the audio trying to locate the correct start and end, remembering the audio position time for both then manually entering these numbers for the selection start and end. Very annoying.
Silence finder doesnt work for me.
Thx

Re: Setting Selection Start/End via Audio Position
Audacity doesn't have Mark In and Mark Out like other editors, but it does have Labels.

Labels are sticky/magnetic and you can use then to drag-select a segment.
