How to expand a file for editing

Post by rtcary » Mon Aug 14, 2017 12:29 am

I am a newbie to Audacity and I noticed when I import a file (wav or mp3) it is compressed in the editing area compared to when I was recording it. Is there a key combination the will expand the complete file?

Many thanks

Todd

I think you may be looking for "zoom" http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/zooming.html
My preferred way of zooming in and out is "Ctrl + Mouse Wheel"
