how to move/drag selection?

Help for Audacity on Windows.

how to move/drag selection?

After making a selection, how do I lock this selection and move or drag it around?
I want to move the entire selection, but not the content of the selection.

Is this possible and how?

You can only do that from the keyboard, not with the mouse.
Set the "Selection Toolbar" to show "Length" of the selection, and type in the required selection start time.
