When I try to start Audacity 2.1.2 it doesn't launch, only a small splash window appears. It did try many times, remove and download again, also 2.1.1 . A few times it DID launch. But next time: No.
Long ago I had a previous version (don't remember the version number) and then everything was perfect. It is good, I would like to use it again.

It is likely that the problem is due to your sound card drivers.

I updated my soundcard driver "via hd audio" manually following several guides.
Audaciy launched successfully right after, but the next launch it got stuck on the splash screen like always.
Do you see any possibility to help me?
