This is a clip from a Tubes song. About halfway through, where he sings "see the lightning and the picture show" something changes. Before that it sounds slightly more muffled and right at that spot it gets more clear. I've tried equalization on the first part to try and make it match but haven't had much luck; I'm not even sure that's what it needs. Can anyone tell what's causing this and how I might repair repair it? I've checked every version of this song I could get my hands on and they all do it so it must be in the master. Thanks.

Yes the equalization has changed half-way through.
Could use
Audacity's spectral edit tools* so the
spectrogram, (the equalization), is more consistent ...

- original track in waveform view & duplicate in spectrogram view.png (248.12 KiB) Viewed 460 times
( * it's like dodging & burning an image in photoshop ).

Well I fixed it with the Spectral edit multi tool. I'm not exactly sure how I did it though. It was my first go at it and I just played with it till I got the sound I wanted. It seems like a great tool though and I'll probably get better acquainted with it in the future. Muchos gracias!
