No .AUP file but data remains.

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

No .AUP file but data remains.

While saving my recording (1hr 20min in length), the program crashed meaning there is no .AUP file. The data foldler is there (and I've copied it) but is it possible to resurrect the recording session?

Are you using the latest Audacity 2.1.3 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows? Check at Help > About Audacity... . If not, please use 2.1.3.

If you never edited this recording, you may be able to recover it by following http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/reco ... ually.html.
