Reduce voice not eliminate

Ooh! Nice. Reptile turned out pretty good. It'd be cool to see more spectral editing options for Audacity, such as an eraser tool or something like that. Better yet, maybe expand upon the noise reduction plugin so it allows users to select a part of the spectrogram and have it learn that specified area. That could yield some interesting results.

Here's another separation result. This one turned out surprisingly good considering how complex this track is. I'll attach the original, the initial lead vocal estimation and my "improved" version (spectral multi-edit tool on the areas with the bleeding instruments).

For those who want to mess with this type of stuff (center pan removal / extraction or the script mentioned in this thread): By all means rip the song to WAV, from the original CD. That'll assure that you get the best possible results, since MP3's discard information and it makes the results sound very washed out.
