New to Audacity, I've watched tutorials which have given me a basic understanding but feel I'd profit from inrl instruction. Can anyone recommend someone in Chicago?

I suspect Google is your friend. If none of the forum elves posted by now nothing more is likely to happen. Most casual posters are trying to find out why the voice quality on their AudioBook fails.
