cant hear playback it is very low

all of a sudden it is low. then it was ok - cant tell how it was fixed. then again now impossible to hear it is so low and quiet
pls help

We can't see your computer from here. Please use more words about what you are trying to play.
If you are recording something then playing that, what exactly are you recording? Is the recording too quiet (almost a flat line and not tall blue waves)?
