Recording from USB mixer no longer working
I have my behringer mixer and two mics connected to that. I have been recording regularly with USB Audio CODEC selected as the mic... no problems ever till now. I uninstalled and restarted the laptop to reinstall the driver. nothing. The laptop built in mic detects sound, but not with the CODEC selected. No updates were done on the computer or soundcard. NO changes whatsoever. HELP!

Re: Recording from USB mixer no longer working
Which Behringer, which microphones and which Audacity (in numbers)?
I know you don't have this problem, but just to cover it, Audacity checks for connections when it starts. So connect everything and then start or restart Audacity. You can also Transport > Rescan.
What happens when you listen to the Behringer?
Doesn't Windows have a little sound meter in the Sound Control Panel? Is that working? Audacity gets its sound from Windows, not the mixer.

Also please describe the problem in more detail. Do you just record a flat line, or does the red recording cursor hang in one place?

We have to build your system in our imaginations, so the more detail, the better.
