Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Please help me!!
My name is viviennewolf76 and I am trying to set audacity to export Mp3 files. However, It doesn't give me the option to do so, what do I do? I am trying to set my technical specifications for librivox.

Do you have the posting where Librivox tells you their specifications? We have the one for ACX, but not Librivox.
Audacity will not make a new MP3 sound file by itself. You have to add special plug-in software called "Lame." It's one of the wacky things that happens because Audacity is free and MP3 isn't.
