I need to make some 30 second sound samples of my original tracks that I have in iTunes. Whatever I try - seems to be capturing both iTunes and the mic on my computer. So if I am talking - the audacity file has me talking and the iTunes track seems very distant.
I have tried every setting, still not sure what I am doing wrong. Windows 8.1
There must be a way to capture the audio direct from the computer and not the mic, right?

Re: Capturing Sound From iTunes
ITunes lets me drag shows right to the desktop. Did you try that?

Re: Capturing Sound From iTunes
It is better to import the songs into Audacity, as Koz said. But if the songs are M4A/AAC format, you;ll need to add FFmpeg to your computer. If you must record playback, see this link http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tuto ... ndows.html.
