I have an HP laptop running Windows 10, and just downloaded Audacity 2.1.2.
I have an older laptop with an older version of Audacity on it, and have used it for years.
Unfortunately, I am having a problem with recording from the other audio programs on my computer.
I have Virtual DJ, and often have used that as my playback device to play the source audio, while recording it with Audacity, on my older laptop.
With this new version, it will not record straight from the other programs. It only records from the microphone. The one setting which allows it to record straight through has TERRIBLE sound quality.
What am I doing wrong here?
