Click track records over everything!

Post by richsears1 » Sun Jul 03, 2016 4:56 pm

Hi.... sorry newbie here.

Using Windows 7 and Audacity 2.1.2

I have a MP3 that I import into Audacity. I then Generate a Click Track at 120bpm. I then press record and record a drum beat. However, the click track has also recorded over the Drum beat recording? So I cannot remove it? When I mute or remove the click track, I can hear it over the drum layer.

Any help would be superb.... thank you.

Rich

Ensure that you have the mic input selected in the device toolbar and not "Stereo Mix" and not "Sound Mapper".
