hi guys
i have a youtube song that looks like 2 identical stereo tracks.
i have tried in the past (perhaps 2 yrs ago to remove vocals from other YT tracks, but the result wasn't very good.
Just wondering if there have been any newer add ons or techniques developed that may have improved the process?
thanks for any help.

Re: Remove vocals from youtube stereo track
If they are exactly identical then they will cancel-out (anti-phase) if you split the pair into two mono tracks, then invert one of the tracks.megabuff wrote:i have a youtube song that looks like 2 identical stereo tracks.
If the result is silence, (perfect cancellation), then what you've got is a dual-mono track , which just looks like a stereo track. Vocal-extraction isn't possible on mono.
